Watch – Raekwon – Shaolin Vs Wu-Tang

Raekwon, Wu-Tang’s fabled Chef has dropped a new video on the eve of his fifth solo release.
The first third of the video is done in a hand-drawn animé-style consistent with the kung-fu theme of the album.. The video then transitions to a pleasant mish-mash of video footage interspersed with the animé. All in all, it’s a great video that definitely ramps up excitement for his new album, Shaolin vs. Wu-Tang, arriving in stores and desktops tomorrow.

Watch New Meth/Ghost/Rae Video “Our Dreams”

With the upcoming Wu-Massacre due to hit stores next week, it was about time for Method Man, Ghostface Killah and Raekwon to drop a video. Check out this clip for “Our Dreams,” which features Tical, Starks and The Chef in the middle of a Se7en-esqe crime drama – an interesting juxtaposition given the song’s perseveringly inspirational Michael Jackson sample. Nonetheless, I will admit that I do like this video and am looking forward to this release. As I’ve said before, if you love hip-hop, then you should consider this album required reading for the term.

Method Man/Ghostface/Raekwon Wu-Massacre Streetdated

The Method Man/Ghostface Killah/Raekwon album has a street date and cover art! Hallelujah!! Hip-hop lovers only have to wait until March 30 before being blessed with a Wu-Massacre from three of the game’s finest. It has been a real dry spell lately. Hip-hop wise all I’ve had to tide me over was the new Clipse album and Lupe Fiasco’s enemy of the state mixtape.
Anyway, I’m particularly excited because these happen to the only three members of the Wu-Tang Clan who’s solo albums I’ve owned. One of my favorite pasttimes is to listen to Ghostface while ridiculating on teenage boys on XBOXlive in call of duty or some other digital exploit. (He’s so DIRTY!) I switch to Raekwon and invite the lovers and haters to “Kiss the Ring.” I digress. Those who know me know of my ADD.
